Orbit is operated by Phaeros Inc. (“Orbit,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and store personal information when you use Orbit, including when you interact with an artist, representative, or organization using Orbit to operate a fan rewards program.
We believe transparency is important. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, how it is used, and the choices available to you.
We do not sell your personal information.
1Who This Privacy Policy Applies To
This Privacy Policy applies to:
- Fans who use an Orbit-powered rewards experience
- Customers of artists, representatives, labels, and other organizations that use Orbit
- Users who create or access an Orbit account
- Organizations and their users who access Orbit's services
- Visitors to Orbit's website and support services
When Orbit processes personal information on behalf of an artist, representative, label, or other organization, that organization may be responsible for the information it provides to Orbit and for responding to certain privacy requests. In those situations, we recommend reviewing the applicable organization's privacy policy as well.
2Information We Collect
The information we collect depends on how you use Orbit and the services connected to it.
Account Information
When you create or use an Orbit account, we may collect:
- First name
- Last name
- Email address
- Orbit account identifier
- Account creation date
- Account activity and authentication information
Information From Google
Orbit may allow you to create or access your account using Google authentication.
When you choose to sign in with Google, Google may provide Orbit with information that you authorize Google to share, such as:
- Name
- Email address
- Google account identifier
- Basic profile information
Orbit does not receive or store your Google password.
We only request Google permissions that are necessary for the functionality we provide.
Google information is used to authenticate your account, create or access your Orbit account, and maintain your account.
We do not sell Google user data or use Google user data for advertising.
Fan and Rewards Information
When you participate in an Orbit-powered fan rewards program, we may collect:
- Purchase information
- Transaction dates
- Transaction amounts
- Reward-earning activity
- Reward balances
- Rewards redeemed
- Reward history
- Program participation information
- Information necessary to determine whether an activity qualifies for a reward
Information From Connected Commerce Platforms
Orbit may receive information from e-commerce platforms connected by an artist or organization using Orbit.
For example, where a participating organization connects a Shopify store to Orbit, we may receive information necessary to operate its rewards program, such as:
- Customer name
- Customer email address
- Customer e-commerce platform identifier
- Order information
- Transaction information
- Customer account information
- Information relating to refunds, cancellations, or other transaction changes
The information available to Orbit depends on the permissions granted to the connected platform and the functionality being used.
Website and Technical Information
When you visit Orbit's website or use our services, we may collect:
- IP address
- Browser type
- Device information
- Operating system
- Pages visited
- Approximate location derived from IP address
- Login and usage information
- Cookies and similar technologies
- Security and authentication events
3What We Use Personal Information For

- Creating and managing Orbit accounts

- Operating fan rewards programs

4Information Processed on Behalf of Artists and Organizations
Orbit provides technology to artists, representatives, labels, and other organizations that operate fan rewards programs.
When an organization uses Orbit, we may process personal information on that organization's behalf.
For example, an organization may provide customer and transaction information to Orbit so that Orbit can calculate rewards and maintain a fan's reward history.
In these circumstances, the organization may determine why the information is collected and how it is used. The organization's own privacy policy may therefore apply to the underlying customer relationship.
If you have a question or request relating specifically to your relationship with an artist or organization, we recommend contacting that organization first.
5Information We Share
We may share personal information with service providers that help us operate Orbit, including providers supporting:
- Hosting and cloud infrastructure
- Authentication
- Database services
- Security
- Analytics
- Customer support
- Communications
- Payment processing
- Other services necessary to operate Orbit
These service providers receive only the information reasonably necessary to provide their services and are subject to appropriate contractual or other safeguards.
We may also disclose information:
- When required by law or legal process
- To comply with a valid governmental request
- To protect the rights, property, or safety of Orbit, our users, or others
- To detect or investigate fraud, security incidents, or abuse
- In connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, restructuring, sale of assets, or similar corporate transaction
We do not sell personal information.
6Information Shared With Participating Organizations
When you participate in an Orbit-powered rewards program, information about your participation may be available to the artist, representative, label, merchant, or other organization operating that program.
Depending on the program, this may include:
- Your name
- Email address
- Purchase or qualifying activity
- Reward balance
- Reward history
- Reward redemptions
- Program engagement information
The participating organization may use this information to administer its fan rewards program and manage its relationship with you.
7Shopify and Other Connected Services
Orbit may integrate with third-party services, including e-commerce platforms such as Shopify.
When an organization connects a third-party service to Orbit, information from that service may be provided to Orbit for purposes such as calculating rewards, maintaining transaction records, and administering the organization's fan rewards program.
Your use of a third-party service is also subject to that service's own terms and privacy policy.
8Google Authentication
Orbit may use Google OAuth to provide account authentication.
When you select Continue with Google, Google authenticates your identity and provides Orbit with the information you authorize.
Orbit uses this information only for purposes associated with account authentication and the Orbit account functionality for which the information was requested.
Orbit does not receive your Google password.
You can review and manage third-party applications connected to your Google Account through Google's account settings.
9Cookies and Similar Technologies
Orbit and our service providers may use cookies and similar technologies to:
- Keep you signed in
- Maintain security
- Remember preferences
- Understand how our services are used
- Improve website and product performance
You may be able to control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling certain cookies may affect the functionality of Orbit.
10Data Retention
We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to:
- Provide Orbit and related services
- Maintain account and transaction records
- Operate our business
- Prevent fraud and abuse
- Resolve disputes
- Comply with legal obligations
- Enforce our agreements
When personal information is no longer required, we may delete it or anonymize it so that it can no longer reasonably be associated with an identifiable individual.
Where Orbit processes information on behalf of an organization, retention may also depend on that organization's instructions and the applicable service arrangement.
11Deleting Your Information
Depending on the circumstances, you may request that your personal information be deleted.
If your information is associated with a fan rewards program operated by an artist or organization, you may need to contact that organization to request deletion or removal from the program.
If you have an Orbit account, you may also contact us directly.
Deleting your information may affect your ability to access your Orbit account, reward history, or rewards associated with that account.
12Your Privacy Rights
Depending on where you live and subject to applicable law, you may have the right to:
- Request access to personal information we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate information
- Request deletion of personal information
- Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent
- Object to certain processing
- Request restriction of certain processing
- Request information about how your personal information is collected, used, or disclosed
Where Orbit processes information on behalf of an artist or organization, we may direct your request to that organization.
We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling certain requests.
13International Processing
Orbit and our service providers may process personal information in Canada, the United States, and other jurisdictions where our service providers operate.
As a result, personal information may be subject to the laws of those jurisdictions and may be accessible to courts, law enforcement, regulatory authorities, or other governmental authorities where permitted or required by law.
14Children's Privacy
Orbit is not intended for children under the minimum age required to use the service in their jurisdiction.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children where doing so would violate applicable law.
If you believe that a child has provided personal information to Orbit in circumstances where it should not have been collected, please contact us.
15Security
We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, use, modification, disclosure, loss, or destruction.
However, no internet-based service or electronic storage system can guarantee absolute security.
16Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to our services, technology, legal requirements, or privacy practices.
When we make changes, we will update the “Last updated” date above and provide additional notice where required by law.
